"I decided to become a nurse when I was 16-17 years old in 1993. I was working in a nursing home as a CNA. I was working in a Nursing Home as a CNA. There was so much neglect towards the patients and I felt like my voice did not matter due too my position. I decided then and there, that I was going to do something to change my position and empower those whom did not have a voice.

I became a an LPN in 2006 my RN in 2009 and currently looking at schools to complete my FNP. I have empowered a lot of people to use their voice for positive change. One day at a time I feel I give courage to someone to speak out for patients."
