COVID-19 Patient Resources & Reminders

The health and safety of our patients is our top priority. Dialysis patients are at an increased risk of serious illness if infected. Here are important resources & reminders to ensure their health and well-being during this time.

1. KEEP UP WITH YOUR DIALYSIS TREATMENTS

It is important that you continue your scheduled dialysis treatments. Missing 1 treatment can be very harmful and puts you at even higher risk for serious illness.

2. STAY IN CONSTANT COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR CARE TEAM

Stay in contact with your care team. Our centers are open and prepared to answer any of your concerns or questions. Our after-hours hotline number is 1-855-887-0919.

3. KNOW THE SIGNS & BE HONEST

Stay informed on the signs & symptoms. If you experience any of the symptoms, be honest and report it to your center’s care team or Nephrologist as soon as possible.

4. TRY TO GET A SUPPLY OF MEDICINES & FOOD

Limit your trips for supplies and exposure by speaking with your Nephrologist or Pharmacist about getting a larger amount of your prescription medication. Contact your center’s dietitian for renal-friendly recipes and nutritional tips to ensure you’re continuing your nutritional plan.

5. CDC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR HYGIENE

It is important to wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands. For more information click here
