Tunji Alausa, MD is a board-certified Nephrologist and founding partner of Kidney Care Center, which delivers optimal care to patients with a wide range of kidney diseases and hypertension. Dr. Alausa has published multiple papers covering a diverse range of medical practice. His publications have spanned across both medical research and clinical medicine, and have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine. In 2007, Dr. Tunji Alausa was named one of America’s Best Physicians.

M. Sameer Shafi, MD has built a stellar reputation for his dedication to the health and well-being of the patients he serves, including those with acute and or chronic kidney disease. Dr. Shafi incorporates a unique blend of experience, compassion and skill. His insight was instrumental in launching the nation’s first Staff Enhanced Home Hemodialysis program. He is an Affiliate of the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was appointed Chief Resident.
Babajide Salako, MD

Babajide Salako, MD is a graduate from George Washington University with an MBA. He brings more than a decade of dialysis experience in corporate roles across Fresenius Medical Care, Home Dialysis Services, Dialysis Care Center and Kidney Care Center. Dr. Salako’s overall business acumen and extraordinary vision has warranted him numerous recognitions, including an award for crisis management and recognition from the Kidney Community Emergency Response Coalition. His breadth of experience continues to be instrumental in double-digit Y-o-Y growth of several dialysis entities. Under his direction and uncompromising approach to dialysis innovation, Dialysis Care Center, Home Dialysis Services and Kidney Care Center continue to grow as the new dialysis practices to watch.

Asim Shazzad, Chief Operating Officer, has more than 10 years of experience in dialysis, clinical practice management and real estate portfolio development. His expertise has been key to ensuring that our dialysis practices are not only in compliance but are developed with modern state-of-the-art amenities that ensure our patients' comfort.
Senior Director of Clinical Support & Operations
Kristin Paoletti RN, BSN, MBA Senior Director of Clinical Support & Operations, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all DCC/HDS clinics. She leads a team of clinical staff and administrators along with a logistics support team.
Tina Nevins, BS, Controller started her career at Arthur Andersen where she worked for 19 years across various departments including Auditing and Internal Business Unit Accounting. She later joined Pronger Smith Medical Care as a financial analyst, where she utilized her expertise over 14 years to become PSMC’s Director of Finance. Tina brought her expertise to the dialysis industry in 2015.
Director of Revenue Cycle & Contracts
Lori Morrell, Director of Revenue Cycle & Contracts has 20+ years of administrative experience in the healthcare industry. She manages the ever-growing revenue cycle team, successfully monitoring the monthly revenue. Additionally, Lori provides leadership on payer contracts.
Director of Human Resources & Communications
Michele Crnich, BS, Director of Human Resources & Communications has 20+ years of human resources experience in the healthcare field. Her insight and leadership has been instrumental in coaching, training and developing countless managers and employees over the years. Michele utilizes her passion for people to volunteer for a variety of charitable events and is an active member of the Community Board for the Cancer Support Center in Mokena.
Salman Azam, JD is the Managing Partner at Azam Chandran & Gilani LLP and has been counseling businesses for nearly a decade in corporate and transactional healthcare matters. He currently acts as General Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer for DCC/HDS. Because of his dedication to excellence, Salman has earned recognition as an Illinois Rising Star SuperLawyer every year since 2009.
Director of Business Development
Paul Jackson, BS, Director of Business Development has successfully built a 25 year career, largely spent developing Elmhurst Hospital's occupational health network. During this time, he received a nomination from President George Bush for innovative solutions in establishing a first responder Hepatitis B vaccination program. Paul parlayed his marketing expertise into the dialysis world in 2012.

Michelle Moseley, RN, Director of Clinic Best Practices has expertise that spans across providing dialysis care from neonatal to adult patients in chronic, acute, and home therapies. Michelle has trained both staff and patients, as well as extended her knowledge and skills in dialysis education to various major medical facilities and medical providers nationwide.
Director of Business Performance & Joint Venture Relations
Lanre Alausa, Director of Business Performance & Joint Venture Relations has more than a decade of experience as an analyst in Internal Controls, in the dialysis space. Lanre was a former analyst for Fresenius Medical Care North America where he performed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance testing, risk-based Financial and Operational audits across multiple business units. In his current role, Lanre will provide support to the CEO in Joint Ventures operations and engage in other business areas within the organization.
