"By nature, I always felt like I was a nurturer and even more so when I became a Mother. I originally went to school to become a medical coder/biller but once graduated, I decided to continue with my studies to be a nurse, as I found the medical field very fascinating. Nursing school, and raising 3 young children, was the most challenging undertaking, but the payoff was well worth it. I love my career, I love caring for my patients, and I am doing something I always felt I was called to do. To be given the opportunity to help people in their most vulnerable, and unexpected moments has been most rewarding. As a nurse, I continue to be inspired as well as inspire others. It is a profession that never stops giving."
